Scanned source: extract the embedded image at native resolution (extract_image), never re-render — a 200 DPI scan re-rendered at 600 DPI triples the pixel count for no detail. Vector source: render at 600 DPI, configurable.

Done: Ketun joululaulu loads as 1653×2332 per page; Elämän nälkä renders at ~4960×7016.
